Also, I know there's a lot of discussion about low band apply and it's affect on sprags over the years, but, depending on how you use the VB, it's not necessarily a requirement - as long as you've got a bolt in sprag in your trans. I don't rebuild mine without using them.

If you've been following VB technology over the past decade, Griner ( a high end VB mfg ) builds 'em both ways, but tout quicker release times in lieu of the LBA.
