It's a long story, but I recently got back my Grandmother's 1964 Dodge Dart GT. Grandma moved in with us late in her years and brought her Dart. My sister drove it for a while. I drove it in High School. My Mom's Uncle then took ownership for 20-plus years, then his son (Mom's Cousin). Now, I have it back. All in all, the car has been well loved, Barn-stored, and is a driver. There is a scant '51 year old car without issues, so I am working to solve some of them, learn everything about the 'ol Dart as I can, and looking forward to some enjoyable Sunday drives.

Advice, sources for parts (NOS is preferred), and any other related chit-chat is welcome.

See you'all on the Forums!

welcome!!! and wow!!! a true survivor. looks to be a tremendous time capsule. great car!!! I have several early darts, one of which is a 64 gt.
i'm sure all of us 64 0wners would love to see more pics of all the details of this car. a great reference too for anyone piecing these cars back together.
NOS parts. can be a true "hunt", and anything nos can be expensive, and self wear can be something to watch out for.

Welcome to FABO from down in Virginia Beach!

Great looking car you got there!

Welcome to the site.

I took the liberty of resizing the pic so it doesn't stretch the thread out of shape. Hope you don't mind, now we can see the whole thing without scrolling side to side.

I must say, it's a beauty!!

Thanks for the welcome and the image resize--noobie mistake.

I'll do some more detailed shots and post soon. My plan was to have a journal of where the car was when I got it and how far I have brought it back.

I also plan to do some more formal photo shoots and will post those in the image gallery as well.

For now, I'll be poking around the forum and getting some tips and insight along the way.

Thanks again.

Rich
