Hey everyone, new to the group. Name is Darren and have a 1970 Dodge Dart Custom with a 318 I bought 2 years ago. Love working on it but finding it a never ending battle to source parts. look forward to chatting with you all and getting this dart on the road soon.

Too bad I am struggling to find replacement 10" drums for front and back so may need to convert to disc and as far as I know cant use 14" wheels with 5x4" bolt pattern with disc. I also like the look but hey what can you do.

Here is the man who may have all the parts you need. Craig @mobileparts

He is in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, at Spring Carlisle right now, but he is the one to talk to, and he will take care of you.

I have drum brakes on all 4 on my Dart, and he had everything I needed. I also got everything for brakes and suspension from Craig. A lot of the stuff he has is NOS, USA-made.

( Seriously , very few … ) *** N.O.S. *** Asbestos *** Brake Shoes —- the nicest , softest , smooooooothest braking system known to mankind , and doesn’t rip up Brake Drums to smithereens….

Great looking Dart. I have a 70 Swinger with front discs that have 14x5x4 all around.
Look on this site for all kinds of parts, if people dont have them, chance are someone will direct you to a site that does.

Nice Dart! A green 1970 Custom, much like what I had. Check out the classifieds section for parts, lots of good people here and usually there are some parts for sale.
Much better than it was when I was doing my Dart in the late 90s/ early 2000s. Member Hemi71X sometimes has the Kelsey Hayes disc brakes available for sale. Those are 5x4 inch bolt circle and will allow you to keep your existing wheels.
