I spent the day in Ennis TX for the NHRA Fall Nationals. Had a great time, in spite of Covid. The racers are really happy to be racing and talking with fans. I could tell the difference. I spent about 15 minutes listening to Antron Brown and he was sorry he had to keep his distance. I then went through the pits and found Doug Duell, C/SA 69 Barracuda. Talked with him for 30 minutes about his Barracuda and Mopars! Found Mark Pawuk and his FSS Challenger. We kept our distance, but he is a very nice guy and the Challenger is flying! #2 Q yesterday. Got to see Leah and his Challengers side by side. Then we found Steve Wann, Mr. 413. A 62 Plymouth 413 Max Wedge. Super guy all the way from CA chasing points. Did not stay to watch SS and S racing, but did see 1 round of FSS. Those cars are BAD!.
