Nitrous pics

Why would a guy use a .073 flow tool, if his gas jet is smaller and recommended to run at 8 lbs of pressure ?
Why not clamp the right size jet in a hose and set it exactly what ur supposed to run?

Monte Smith taught me to do that and all of hits kits are flowed like that and my Wilson flow tool uses a .073 jet also. Its just the baseline everyone uses I guess.

Still dont make sense to me , but I`m not a nitrous guru , setting flow with a .073 jet , would be off if using anything other than a .073 jet , or a diff. pressure , N X recommends 8lbs pressure for theirs----------------??/

Interesting. I have a 4150 NX HVH super sucker and the stock tunes are dead *** rich.

On the other hand the nitrous kit above made my 511 low deck pick up 336hp in 300 rpm on the 175hp jets. 950hp@6000rpm shutting off 1000 rpm short of redline with my engine guy screaming "dont mess up my dyno room on a friday afternoon blow it up at the track" lol. I can post the dyno sheet if you would like.

Hit my 100 shot on my 340 yesterday. Feels pretty damn strong. Car ran 12.80-12.90 range n/a feels like a solid 11 car now. Time will tell. Always been an n/a guy but gave in. Can’t say I don’t like it.

What size nitrous Jets were you using? what size fuel jet? what was your fuel pressure and your bottle pressure?..

Nitrous jet is 57. Fuel jet is 41. Bottle pressure 900. Fuel pressure 9lbs. flowed. Timing 30. Stand alone fuel system running vp 110.

I want to say I use the 38s cuz I don't think I got the other kit... I'm pretty sure I'm at 7 lb when flowing.. and I'm also ready with 110 on a standalone fuel system... Of course I have dual quads so I'm using two plates with those Jets...
I'll probably see what happens this spring... Something to look forward to...

I have a NX kit. Jets are for 8 to 10 psi fuel pressure. Every kit jets differently. I will pull some plugs tomorrow and see how they look. It is pretty awesome when it hits.
