What would the reason be for this. I used to have a edelbrock 500cfm carb. I run a clear glass fuel filter. The filter would always be full of gas after driving. Even for more than a day gas would remain in the filter. Now I have a 600cfm edelbrock. After a drive when I pop the hood most of the fuel has drained out of the filter. After more time it's completely empty. What gives? Does it have to do with the carburetor?

Any info is appreciated. Thanks

Yes, Some carb's will stop any air in and keep it from dropping back down stream, Like the one you had on first.
Pump it one time and hit the key it should fill up right away.
Something to do with the venting system to the carb is letting gas fall back to your pump.
A tec will jump in here and fix you up with a better diagnosis.
