Have a 68 notch that I am just finishing and can't seem to get over 3 lbs fuel pressure. Running a stock tank with 3/8 pickup, going into an Edelbrock 120 gph pump then through a screen fileter to the carb. I thought maybe it was working too hard trying to suck up the fuel so put the screen filter on the other side of the pump but still no difference. Checked for air leaks and can't find anything??
Will these pumps not draw enough fuel through the pickup to get the fuel pressure up?? The most pressure I can get at the carb is 3 lbs. I have ran holley blue's in the past this way and didn't have any problems. Just wanted to try the Edelbrock pump because I heard they are a lot quieter.
