Thought I post some pictures for restoring paint reference on the trunk finshpanel for a 1968 GTS. I was surprised of the way they the letters DODGE where painted from factory. Hope it helps anybody that is restoring one. Cheers, Mike

I know how you feel....lol I picked up from the guy I bought my GTS from.
He had it under his bed...I told him I wanted it for under my bed and we made a deal. It goes well with the NOS front grill that I picked up a few years back. ;)

Even the factory ( NOS ) made errors IE: wrong build sheets i even found left over pieces of welding rods covered in Org paint under the carpet.
That E was most probably an error missed by the quality control crew.
I've seen a lot of original panels when i was looking for one and never seen the E painted in. So maybe you have a one of a kind there.
Still looks minty though... its a keeper
