I have a new 66-67 a body hurst competition plus shifter assembly for sale and when i say new i mean new it has never been mounted on a transmission it still has the factory part number sticker over the mounting hole. The original part number was a 291-6549 then hurst changed the part number too 391-4137. It still has the factory grease in the bottom of it i don't think the shift levers have been moved. The chrome on the shift handle is perfect no pitts or rust at all. Asking 300.00 plus shipping or the ride i'm in ellicott city md or if you come to the shop it's in baltimore md but i'm not there on the weekends most of the time. Thanks bob

what does this fit. is it a replacement, the handle does not look correct. I could be wrong. something just doesn't look right.

I believe this is an up grade shifter or to replace the inland shifter used in 66-67 A body it doesn't look anything like the shift handle that I have for my 67 Barracuda with a console. I could not find it listed the Hurst catalog that I have from the early 80s but when I Googled it using the 291-6549 part number it came up as 66-67 A body shifter. I hope this helps clear things up. Please PM me with any questions and I will try and answer them as best I can. Thanks

correct,,the 67-69 handle was different..this shifter was an option for the early A and to replace the inland console shifter...cool piece

Darn Thanks I got one thing right today I was looking for the shifter for my 67 and couldn't find it. I had forgot all about this one being in my parts stash.
