I would stick with the air gap. Will give up a lot down low when the bottle is not on.

If you use the Air Gap, I would plan on opening the intake ports on the heads to the 340/360 dimensions. The normal problems with the mismatch between 318 and 360 ports would potentially become very problematic when trying to flow extra fuel and nitrous.
Have you thought about this kit? (I'm really thinking about putting it on my car)

Supposedly the perimeter plate helps even out distribution on dual plane intakes.
If your car doesn't happen to be Plum Crazy, they sell it in black also.
