What would be entitled to put a 67' Dart front end on a 74' Swinger? I asked a "Mopar" Guy who comes into my work and he said just swap the fenders, grill, hood, and bumpers. Is it really THAT simply?

Yes it is very simple. Finding the parts is the hard part.

Well, since you have a 74 (impact bumper shocks), you'll have to re-drill for the new bumper mounts (I'm pretty sure). You'll also need the grille support that is located behind the grille.

Wow! So it is really simple then. So I wouldn't have to swap out core supports or anything? It's all almost bolt on? Just trying to get my info straight before I go off and start sourcing the parts :read2: Thanks for the quik replys guys

Other than the drilling holes for the bumper mounts. Yes it is just changing over parts.

The only other thing I can think you will need is the peice right behind the head light. Sorry don't know the name of it. But if you do need it it is a bolt on thing too.

Oppps. You are right They are part of the fender. Sorry about that. It has been a wile sence I did my swap.

Is the radius and lines between door and fender the same ? Any one actually completed this change ?

Looking at pictures of both it appears they all have the same body lines, there isn't a radius on any of the door/fender gaps, they all look vertical. Whether or not the lines actually line up may be something else, but it looks do-able to me. At the very least I would think it would be straightforward to put a 70-72 front end on it.

I have seen at several examples of people grafting 70 Swinger front and back ends on to 67 - 69 convertible cars, essentially making a 70 convertible. This suggests to me that the fenders should line up with the doors just fine.

67-76 Dart doors are all the same. They will match up just fine.
