Hi y'all,
Got a question about starting a car thats been sitting. Sometimes life gets in the way, and stuff goes on the back burner. Case in point. I have an 07 mustang GT. About 2 and a half years ago i put fresh oil and filter in it, stabil in the tank with a half tank of fuel in it, put the battery tender on it and was going to let it sit over the winter under its cover in the garage for about 5 months. Well life got in the way. Battery gave up the ghost, money got tight, and she sat for 2.5 years under a car cover. Things are getting a bit better financially, and i want to start driving this car again on nice days.
Other than fresh fuel, and letting her idle to warm up for awhile, and taking her for a long drive to clear out the stale fuel anything else i should look for, or need to do? Engine is a stock 281 inch 3 valve V8 with only a set of flowmasters, and a cold air intake kit.
Thanks
Matt
