Went to a small tire no prep shoot out at my local track today. They ran a street car class, small tire and big tire. The starting line was just past the finish line in the shut down area.

This was the coolest car on the property, big tire, all aluminum Pro Charged Hemi, 58 Chevy Delray two door wagon. The owner said it would run in the 4's a 170 plus in the 1/8, 3400 lbs.

Very Cool Indeed! I’m guessing it’s one of the Pat Musi or Gene Fulton type Hemis?

That’s so cool!

A guy in my town drives around in this.

The picture was taken around Halloween and he had it done up for that.

He told me it was originally a delivery vehicle for Lucky Lager Beer made by General Brewing Company and the original lettering was still visible on the tailgate.

Yeah, they’re still awesome engines, even if they’re not Mopar. I got neighbors out the way that run them in top dragsters and pro cars.
