My Uncle is giving me a Dodge Stealth with a crack in a part of the transmission, i need to know what the part is and how much it may cost for a new one. thanks if you can help.

Remove the side cover and bring it to a welder that does welding for aluminum,tig welding,and you should be good,50-75$ your done.You can,t see much in the picture to see the extent of the brake,mrmopartech

It looks like it just part of the case and I highly doubt that you will be able to order just that one piece individually for the trans. The best place I could tell you would be to go to a junk yard or call one up and find a whole other transmission. If not just pull that part of the trans and goop it up with rtv and put it back together. I think I saw a stealth at the junk yard earlier today when I was there. Not sure if its a manual trans or not but next time I go if it is I could pull it for you.

thanks for the info, i'll probably try getting it welded, if that doesn't work i'll hit the junkyards.
