Grassy,
Thanks for the video, really fun to watch. A busted brake line on race day at that location, he's lucky he got to run the car! Pretty cool!!!

I drove up that road as a kid when it was mostly still dirt. It's one thing watching it on a video but when you are on that road you have a whole new respect for those guys!

All them people standin on the side of the road are stupid.

That road is on my bucket list...drove one very similar in Portugal...no railing..very long and steep drop....and twisty..

Saw that before, never gets old. I like watching road race videos like that, even better being a Mopar that wins! Best of both worlds! Only people hating are some who don't care for Mopars.

Ok, yell at me, curse at me..... My first love for cars are the Darts. My second favorite........ Corvairs. Late model, mid to late '60's before they stopped making them. Anywho, here is a video of a Yenko Corvair Stinger. I never knew these were made until I saw Leno's Garage one day on YouTube. He has one. Only 100 were made, little over 70 are left. Thses were made for the street and road racing and yes, the same Yenkop that did the hot Camaro's and Nova's. Here is a video of James Reeves who raced these cars way back. I love watching road racing like this.... Sorry if it's a chove it or leave it lay. Hope you will appreciate road racing. This in NOT a stock flat six, thing is beefed up to 240 ponies.

Louis,

Great vid... I love road racing..I marshaled at a track for years. Interesting to not that most cars pull over when there is a much faster car behind them..if not we had a flag (same as in MX) that signaled the slower driver to get the heck out of the way. At the first part of the vid, I was saying move over 911...

The Corvairs were not as Ralph made them out to be..but more of a stepping stone for his career.

I didn't know they made trucks until recently.
