I had a fan just like that and you are backwards and I would install a wider spacer so that the leading edge of the fan blades are 3/4" from the rad.

sorry to jump in, we talking 200 degrees c or f please? in throws of fitting aftermarket 2" temp guage,need to know if go hot enough!:snakeman:
