Not getting the replies id hoped in Tech....HELP?

I was thinking of going to a 4-speed in the Cuda, My question is what kind of tranny can I put in there?

Will the ones from truck work?
What do I need to look for?
Do I need a A-Body only trans?
Will one from a F Body work?

I need help here guys, Im not 100% sure I will go with a 4-speed but the idea is pretty cool.
Any help on this?

has to be an A body 833. The B body 833 has a longer tail shaft. I think the ebody uses the same as the B body but I am not for sure. Passion has rebuilt trannys for the available. Any Abody will work.
 
I think the shifter mount is in different spots in relation to the body styles that they came out of. I have a tranny here that has (I think) a B-Body mounting point and a E-Body mounting point. I could be wrong on that though. But I do know that it has two mounting points for the shifter.

Has to come from an A body car. Tailshafts are different along with shifter mounting locations
 
I've seen B-body 833's put in A-bodys, but it takes some hacking to get it done.

F-body trans will be an 833OD. It will bolt in, but the OD trans is not the most desirable thing for a hot rod.
