so i was looking at the front drums last night trying to figure why the wheels i have wouldnt work and why when i put them on they would cause the pedal to pulsate upon braking. there was also a strong pull to the left upon hard braking. the setup was as follows:
- 2 stock 13 inch rims on front
- 2 14 inch aftermarket rims on back
i was trying to get the other 2 aftermarkets on front when i encountered the wheel hop
well this morning i figured i'd try to isolate the prob even more as best i could. so i put 1 aftermarket 14 inch wheel on the passengers side. tire is 185/65/14 i believe. i need to get the size of the 13 but i think is something like 155/65/13 or so.
so with 3 14 rims and 1 stock 13, the brake hop is gone AND the pedal pulse on braking is gone? what the hell is going on here lol!
any ideas?
