Nuetral safety switch

I am thinking of installing a quicksilver in my duster. Will I have to wire up the safety switch and reverse lights to the new b & m shifter or just the hardware? Everything works correctly now on the column shifter.

If it's unmodified, the neutral safety/reverse light switch is in the transmission. As long as it works now, it should work with the aftermarket shifter as well.
