Nuts!

I'm changing the steering wheel in my Scamp and I'm missing the nut that holds the wheel to the steering column. Can anybody tell me what size nut and what thread pitch I need? Thanks in advance...

1/2"-20-tpi, on a 67, don`t know if they changed for your year, whatever that is?8-)

Scamp is a '71. I don't think there would be a change from year to year. Thanks!
