Offenhauser intake

A few weeks ago I yanked my carb carter 625 and intake offy off cause the car sat for a long time before I got it. Gas was rotten and carb needed rebuilt. So I opted for a new intake and carb. Performer intake with a 600 cfm eddy. Anyways the car is running good now a little on the lean side but I was wondering if the intake that I pulled off is still a viable intake compared to the performer. Your thoughts are appreciated.

Offy dual port. Good for a wallhanger. You will see a nice improvement with the performer.

At the time they were introduced, the new engineering concept got a lot of
attention.

Not good for High RPM flow, but a Good Intake for the Street Application,
as it has very good low RPM Efficiency.

Some guys with a mild 318 or 360 still desire them.
