so im looking into both. shackles are close to the same price as the kit, but there easier to install. the kiit moves springs in 3 inches vs. the shackles .75 . i want to make sure my 16x8 wheels with 255/50/16 tires. what do you guys suggest

The relocation kit will not give you any more room than the offset one unless you mini tub your car. With the right offset rim and the offset spring kit you will be able to fit 255's EZ.

Burntorange70 makes a good point. I've used both and unless you're going to put a 12" wide tire in there, go simple and use the bolt in offset kit.

any pics of hte offest shackles? the bolt on ones. im curious where does it give you that .75? at the front of the tire or only at the back of the tire? i was looking and studying the opening and clearance of my tubs. with stock location leafs i can get a 10" wheel in there, but it would graze the leaf so slightly my wells are cut out allready for mini tubbing so ive got more room then normal. im curious if the tire would rub on the sring where it hangs at the front of the leaf. as it appears to me its only a rear offset on the leafs, not a complete offset? is that correct?

If I'm not mistaken, with the proper backspacing you should be able to fit 255 wide tires without an offset...Check the "post your wheel and tire comb's" thread, seems like there are a few people running that combo with stock suspension
