I got some offset spring shackles from an old motor head over the weekend. He is restoring a 68 Z28 Camaro. He had some Mopar stuff he was selling off and these were mixed in.
He said they were old Direct Connection parts, but was not sure. I'm still waiting on the DoctorDiff kit but my patience is wearing thin. I made a post about the spring relocation location using sliders, which worked out OK, but I'd really to use the stock type hangers for another car I'm working on.
The offset is more like 1.25 and at about 3.75" eye to eye compared to the stock shackles which are 3.5". I'm going to section the big one and try to make a small one
My question is, does anyone know the measurements or have one for reference to do a 1/2" offset shackle?

The 1.25 offset is meant for moving the springs in on a 74-72 B body. I'm not sure what you mean by "section the big one and try to make a small one". Do you mean to change the 1.25 offset to .50 ?

That's right, as the B body shackle is longer. Probably not long enough to make it work for an A body once it's "sectioned".

Do you just need A-body offset shackles? I think I have a set laying around. I have a Doctor Diff kit on the shelf too but you would have to pay a premium to pry it from me. Those kits are rare as hen's teeth.
