Hey guys,

Some of us on slantsix.org are trying to get a group buy worked out with Offy for intakes, valve covers, etc...since they're one of the few people who do slant stuff. I know some of you guys are members on both boards, so head on over to http://www.slantsix.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=30815 and take a look. If enough people get in, we might be able to get quite a price break.
 
If the price is right a valve cover would be cool for me.:-D
 
what kind of air cleaners do you put on a dual 1bbl... using 1920 holley's?
 
For my 2x2 setup, I ordered one of these off of ebay, styled like a Cobra dual quad. I think that i'll need to cut a new baseplate out and rivet it in to fit the twin webers, but it should look awesome.

what kind of webers are good for this intake?
 
id also be interested in a valve cover if the shipping fee to Canada isnt completly retarted lol
 
I've got a pair of progressive 2bbls that were originally intended for a Furd Escort 1.6L...the most prominent number on them is 1675
 
if you can get it shipped usps to can. post, it`s under 30$can. but the couriers are nuts.:thebirdm:
 
I will be calling in my order for the intake also. I cant post on the other board so if someone can let them know I'm in I greatly appreciate plus all the effort.
 
72Demon...I'm using both of them on that offy 5041. I'm just waiting on a woman at work whose husband is a machinist to come up with a couple aluminum blocks to make new mounting pads out of. I've already gotten it welded back together, removed the carb studs(wrong pattern), opened up things a bit, and cut/filed off all the unnecessary protrusions(for the rotating rod throttle on early a-bodies)...so as soon as the blocks show up, I'm gonna drill for the new carbs, and attach them properly...I wonder if this manifold would make a decent base to mount a blower to...
 
Dizzydean, could you let me know when you've got your intake order in, just so I can help keep things up to date over at slantsix.org?
 
Oh, my offy valve cover got in last night, a little dirtier than I'd imagined, but not bad for $50 under retail...not a bad casting at all, either

Sorry about that pharmboy. I dint know what I was thinking. I want to get in with the buyers when/if they decide to do the group buy on the intakes. I have been working out of town all week so I might be a little behind. I will check the other site tonight.
