A couple of fishermen go looking for new water on a new to them stream. While bushwacking they come upon what is obviously an old well.
One guy says to the other, "Wonder how deep it is"?
The other replies, "Let's find out".
They look around the area and espy a transmission that had obviously seen better days. They lug it over to the well, hoist it up and topple it over the edge. A considerable amount of time passes before they hear a splash and they pass a knowing nod between them and agree, "it's deep".
Turning to leave, suddenly a goat comes flying into the clearing and hurls itself into the well! The fishermen are dumbfounded!! After looking over the lip and seeing or hearing nothing they again prepare to set off in search of water to fish.
Right then, into the clearing a farmer wanders, glancing left and right and obviously looking for something. One of the fisheman asks what exactly he's looking for? The farmer replies, "Have you guys seen a goat?"
The 2 fishers lock eyes and then procede to tell the farmer about the goat that had just blazed into the clearing and catapulted itself into the well.
The farmer dejectedly shook his head and replied, "Not my goat, mine was tied to a transmission....."
