Hi all,

I hope you can help me. My wife's 2016 Challenger was stolen on Monday from the Pittsburgh air port parking lot. Supposedly it was headed toward Ohio. The other car stolen was recovered in Youngstown after a chase...

It's a plum crazy 2016 r/t shaker with the top stripe package. The spoiler is vinyl wrapped with color shift purple/green. Calipers are painted red. It has fender splash guards.

I would appreciate anyone around the mid- west to keep an eye out..

Can you post a photo of it. Some of the written details might be easier to spot from a photo.

Sorry for your loss

My wife has most of the photos of the car. Here is the spoiler you can see the purple to green/torquise color shift to it. Also the splash guards are visible.

Unfortunately I dont have any pictures since the calipers were painted but they are obviously painted red and not powder coated.

Good luck. I hate to say it but you probably won't want it back even if they do find it. These are usually stolen and either stripped or taken to a city somewhere where they run the crap out of them and do donuts. I have a scat pack and it stays in the garage unless I'm going somewhere I can keep an eye on it.

The best I can do is search Craigslist for any stolen cars or parts. If it has a GPS, you might be able to track it down. If the GPS is not functioning, then it's probably too late and chopped up. Keep an eye on marketplace, descriptions for stolen cars will have terms like "striker" or "yk yk"(you know, you know). Even if the car is no longer whole, it's still important to catch the thief and any found evidence or clues should be reported to the authorities to aid them in the investigation.

Thanks all,
This car is sentimental to us so we will keep up hope. I rebuilt the hemi in my truck last summer, I can rebuild this one if needed.

Thanks. Radio silence today... I learned the 300 that was recovered was totaled. Also sentimental to its owner, former Pittsburgh Steeler Chris Hoke...

A Pickup truck that was stolen was found in a shipping container ready to go overseas detectives caught it in time

Thanks everyone for looking out. No word yet. Still waiting on warrants to get signed... At least we lucked out picking up the rental and got a v6 Challenger.
