oil filter adaptor questions

I am going to build up a 318, and i am using a set of 68 340 hi po exhaust manifolds. I was wondering if i should find and use an M body oil filter adaptor. Will it angle the filter on the engine for better exhaust manifold clearance? Anybody do this and have a pic of their engine right side showing the hi po manifold with the adaptor for the filter?
