Hello,
I see the oil pan gasket rubber ends have an offset.
Would that go towards the inside of the pan?
Thanks!

I put the wider side out and everything went together well and no issue's.
Wait, yours looks like both the inside and outsides of yours are the same.
Look at where the pan rounded over lip is and orient the seal the same.
The nub goes toward the outside of the engine/pan.

I vaguely remember mine only going on one way? I thought the nipples that hold them in the pan are different sizes so you get them on correctly.

Correct. The different sized nipples go in the corresponding sized holes in the pan on 273/318/340 engines. 360 has a smaller seal that fits into the rear main groove without nipples.

Be careful pulling them through the holes. Lube and pliers would help. But if you break off the nipple, you'll need another seal.

Thanks for the replies. I'm still unsure though. It is a deep Milodon pan.
Here are more pics.

Ah, good deal. Thanks to all! This site has been a total life saver for working on these cars for me!
