I am currently looking to source a Y fitting in male 1/8NPT with both Y's in female 1/8NPT. I've found a fitting but not sure If they will send me one.

The reason for this is to be able to run the stock oilpressure guage in my Duster as well as a mechanical guage. Anyone have a line on such a fitting?

Home Depot or Lowes should have that in brass fittings. 3 female Y and would need a close nipple under it.

I got a brass "tee" fitting from the local hardware store. The OP sensor is mounted on the side and the gauge fitting is mounted on top.

I bought one at my local parts store from his brass fitting bin. I didn't think it was too bulky and once you put the air cleaner on (its a small block), its all hidden anyways.

If you have a NAPA nearby they should be able to get you one. All NAPA's near me deal with hydraulics so I assume they do everywhere. I did something similar to what your doing and found a fitting like you want there. Just gotta find a counter guy that knows how to look stuff up in a catalog, lost art you know. lol

I am going to be doing this same thing very very soon. I am going to start with my local parts store which has a large selection of fittings.

How about this fitting, part number 9171K31, 1/8 NPT, over on http://www.mcmaster.com/

I founda perfect y for welding torch use actully just tracking down a supplier. It's made by superiorproducts and good for 200 P.S.I.G so should be more then enough.

My issue with the T I has was threading it in it wasn't very tall and was tough to get past the back lip of the intake.

Our NAPA guys here are pretty useless for the most part unless I have a make and model they are hopeless.

That Summit one looks decent too

Depending on the application you may need to add a 45 degree fitting under a Y or a T to provide spark advance clearance.
Brass to anything else needs a sealant like teflon tape. Brass to brass needs nothing but tight. I do smear just a tad of silicone on the male threads to lubricate them.

Try www1.mscdirect.com, they are a HUGE machine shop supplier, and won't hesitate to do nickle and dime buisness with common folk. They will even send you a catalog that is 4" thick. Go on line, look up fittings and you'll find any and all available in brass, copper, s/s, plastic, unubtainum, heck they'll make um outta old Fords if you want. I've delt with them on several occations and they are great people. If they don't have it, likely it don't exist. No kiddin. I use the Teflon goo that Permatex sells in the tube, vs tape or silicon (doesn't unwind or harden). I've seen too many mis-use's of the stuff with bad results. Sorry Redfish
