Oil Test

So the dart is running again thanks to the quick reply on my starting help post. I would have never thought of the ballast resister. I ran it for about 45 min to an hour and drained the oil. Its a little darker than I was hoping for but I think it may be the left overs from the chocolate milk shake oil I had. I'm going to run some fresh oil through it and have a look. Is there a test I can do on the oil to make 100% sure I'm done with this coolant leak nightmare? I'm going to do a compression test as well just to make sure my heads gaskets are seated 100%.

1969GTS: If the fresh oil turns to chocolate milk again, then you still have a coolant leak. Otherwise you're good to go.
