Ok to heat and bend a pitman arm?

Well gentleman this is the way I feel about this subject, unless you're a metalurgist or a mechanical engineer you should never I repeat "never" heat or try to bend steering components. Period

Well, I think I am going to try to lift the engine a little and then end up denting a tube or two. I really am getting frustrated with this car though, if someone made a decent offer it would probably go, its hard to find time to work on it!
