oldie Animal vs Buddy Rich

Yep, I remember seeing that on TV. I read a book by Neal Pert that says he studied Buddy Rich's drumming style and he feels that he's a better drummer for it.
 
Did anyone ever determine if the oldie animal's playing was just a BR tapeover or was some other drumming actually playing it?
 
Time for me to get the video camera out and,:drinkers: and, opps.:shock:
Go buy another set of drums. that sure got me scratching.
