Please forgive me if it's a re-post. The modern hippies seem to forget that the recycle triangle has two other sides, reduce and re-use, and probably needs a fourth dimension to become a recycle pyramid: repair.

Repair is the aspect of ICE vehicles that gives them the true advantage, as my 2000 Neon (315k miles) and 1996 Neon (400k+ miles) can attest.

This fella is both repairing in order to re-use, in order to reduce. Sharp kid.

Modern "hippies" are stooges. Driving old cars does more for the economy and the environment than any Tesla ever will.

Used tires, junkyard parts... keeping stuff out of the landfill and reusing old parts to cut down on waste is the real way to help the planet
