With the weather better here in Nevada,started to work on the 73 duster over the three days off. Pulled the drivers fender off for replacement and noticed that the damage was worst than first thought. the inner fender panel and the front rad yoke will need replaced along with the frame rail. So now its time to get the drill out. And let the fun began.

I don't know why they couldn't come up with a way to prevent battery damage like that. Newer cars are using composite plastics and stuff like that for the battery trays to keep corrosion at bay.

But it does look fixable....
 
If you look right in front of the K-member mount you can see a poorly done repair job. And an other weld between the K-member mounts. I have a 74 parts car the will be the donor for the inner panel and frame section, rad yoke. But to do right I'll pull the engine and steering box out. And kill the battery acid.
