This is what I know.
My Samsung S4 recently started giving the following message after a few minutes of loading a page on this site:
"Unfortunately, the internet has stopped working".
That happens just a moment or two after the site page I'm viewing loads.
It happens only on this site.
Not other internet site causes this problem.
I then have to reload the page and then the page freezes again and the message happens again.
(Reload again.)
I have never installed any apps other than what came with the phone.
I have never allowed the phone to have "updates".
Over the years I have done a "Factory Data Reset" several times to keep the original Android 4.3 system clean.
This will "Reset All Setting and Delete All Data On the Device".
When the phone started having this problem on the site, I reset the phone and the problem has persisted.
I also keep two apps turned off.
"Download Manager" and "Software Update".
I keep those turned off because I do not want to allow a later operating system to install "automatically" .
I've heard from other people that may cause problems.
Ideas?

That really means very little.

First try clearing your Internet browser`s cache and data.

1. Open Settings.
2. Select Application Manager.
3. Go to All.
4. Select Internet.
5. Tap Force Stop.
6. Tap Clear Data and Clear Cache.

If that did not work - Try this.... Install and run the free app, Clean Master https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...nmaster.mguard from the Play store, and see if that helps.

If that did not work I suggest you use a 3rd party browser like Chrome for Android.

Thanks again.
I know enough to know it could be anything, almost.
When I posted this earlier I was using a laptop because my phone had the problem.
Now I am sitting here typing just fine on the phone with no changes.
I'm wondering if it has something to do with the alerts.
I have no new ones and I may have had them before.
Just a stab.
I've got a friend that thinks the phone manufacturers build in things that make you buy a new phone after a few years.
Bugs that you can't get off of the OS.
This phone is getting pretty old but I'm very gentle with it.

old devices and the internet don't always get along. The internet is constantly changing, constantly upgrading. There are things used commonly to program websites today that wasn't around when your phone was made. So how "gentle" you are doesn't mean the old system you have is going to work well with modern websites all the time.
