Opinions on 68 GTS Roller

I prefer to buy a solid body cheap and redo everything vs paying 6-11k and redoing everything...
My Barracuda cost 700 as a solid shell , no interior ,wiring drivetrain.
My 69 340 4sp Swinger was 1200 for a solid mostly rust free body with most parts but no drivetrain but he threw in a 4 sp and a bell housing.... had camaro buckets in it...lol

Now I understand my deals were really good but still....

I will never buy a freshly painted car, unless I seen it before the work was completed. A person could hide a lot of bad work under pretty paint. I paid a premium for my ‘68 GTS it is nearly rust free. But needs painted. But it has zero bondo in it. Since I paint them myself I will know what’s under the pretty paint.
