anyone in this area know of cheaper wireless internet for security systems?

FYI - We had a security system installed in the last house we built (Woodslee, ON - near Windsor) and we were told a wireless internet system was not recommended because it couldn't be effectively monitored by the security system supplier and if the internet connection went out for some unknown reason it would set off the alarm. We ended up with a hard wired system.

You may want to check into that.
