We decided to bring the car out to the show Sunday. With all the crap going on it sounded like a good bit of therapy. It was just over the bridge about 15 minutes from me up in The Bronx and we're glad we made it. Incredible show.
Here's a few high-lights from the show:
T5 bronze big block 4 speed.... Total rotisserie restoration. Beautiful car!
273-4spd.-A/C.... PERFECT!
`55 Coronet with a 392 Hemi..... Incredible car.
My Wife was in heaven. Aside from loving Wing-Cars, she had the chance to sit in this movie car. This was used in the re-make of Gone is 60 Seconds and was the car they patterned "The KING" from for the movie CARS. As Amy was sitting in the car the owner asked her how it felt to sit exactly where Richard Petty sat. It was a thrill.... not to mention the owner Louie was a super nice guy.
Another L1 Turquoise Barracuda!!!!!!!!!! This owned by a fellow named Pablo and allegedly it runs a real good number. REAL good...
Non-Mopar content:
Ever wonder exactly what a cluster-f**k looks like? These rock crawlers showed us.
Twin Turbo small block powered Civic....
Hemi powered `32 Ford
And we had bikes....
And if there was any doubt that we weren't in the Bronx.....
Oh...by the way. I got a parking up-grade to the car corral with my heap. Between that and all the beautiful cars in attendance, it made the trip worth it.
