The engine was running fine when I pulled it out 15 years ago. However sometimes the oil light would lightly flicker at idle and very slight knock on start up. I believe it has 100,000 plus miles on it. I have had it covered and stored in the garage during that time

Asking $400 for all

I wish I could pick it up but I'm in Colorado. Just curious... on the block on the drivers side front just under the head there are date and other numbers stamped into the block. What are they?

Thanks

By the way. The oil light at idle and slight click on startup sounds exactly like my 150000 mile old rebuilt 67 273. I upped the oil to 10W40 and changed the pressure switch (leaking) and the oil pressure holds fine. The clicking is most likely the mechanical rockers not quite adjusted well enough on a cyl or two.

also is it a real HP 273 or a dressed up standard 273?
