Original motor ?

Anyone know where the VIN is stamped on the 273 engine block for a 67 barracuda? I want to verify if the engine is original or not.

The VIN stamping on the block started for 1968 production year.
The best you can do to verify that it is correct, is to verify the assembly date stamped on the front of the block, driver side, just below the cylinder head.
Those numbers will need to be decoded.
