dayum a real hemi car in that shape is still worth so much

go figure. a 440 car almost as much power stock and ...

You would think every panel on that thing is warped. I have seen them bring em back before but there wont be much of the original sheet metal left.

I sure buyer just wants drive train, vin and fender tag. They will more than likely rebody this car. I am amazed at the bids on this car.

Yup you know someone is going to buy it and rebody it and call it ALL ORIGINAL when they put it up for sale. Funny nobody here has jumped up on the pulpit and screamed the SIN of someone wanting to rebody a car!!! Like they do someone on here when they mention rebodying a slant six 74 Duster!

Yep that one is a easy fix. Soon to be at the auction completely restored.

Bad *** engine though 66 426 hemi dual carbs probably standard bore all original.

IMO, that auction embodies everything that is wrong with this hobby. 20yrs ago that car was worth very little. Now because of the hemi, Vin and plate it's worth more than a nice 66 driver. Sad sad sad.

That is one of the hardest cars to do. Oh, the poor donor car.
I suspect it will be someone with deep pockets who is well connected in The Hobby.
Then the process, what ever it they do, will be sanctified.
Don't try this at home though.

Unless the vin number comes to be known in the Hemi car arena. Then it won't be able to be past off as "100% ORIGINAL". That is the good thing about the internet and all the other forms of modern day contact.
