Bunch of us guys wanna rent some track time this summer. Its a varied bunch.. MoPars, Turds, Crapolets, etc. We're all gonna pony up $120 each for it. Gonna be a winner take all type of thing $1500 i think. Anyways, hears the rules that where emailed to me..whatcha guys think?
OutLaw 10.5 True Street: 1/4 mile
1. Must be street legal (Plates, mufflers, lights, etc.). Must pass NHRA Tech.
2. No lexan.
3. Fiberglass body panels limited to hood. Factory hood scoops are OK.
4. Stock complete interior (wanna cage..figure a way around it).
5. SmallBlock / BigBlock 3200lb min. weight (not including driver).
6. Max tire size 28 X 10.5 DOT BiasPly or Drag Radial (no "W" tires). The Tires you drive to the track is the tires you race on.
7. No towing of race cars to the lanes or from the finish. Can be pushed by hand in the staging lanes.
8. Stock rear suspension. Stock style front suspension (factory upper/lower control arms must be used)
9. No Bolt on traction devices.
10. No mini/full-tubs.
11. No wheelie bars.
12. Cars must be drivin to the track. If your car doesnt make it under its own power you are disqualified.
13. Engine Block must be original OE or AfterMarket equivilent (with stock OE bore spacing). 500cid + .060" limit.
14. Single carb or FACTORY multi carbs allowed, no sheet metal intakes.
15. NO NOS. You show up with NOS, you're disqulified.
16. Blower / Turbo car will carry a 400lb weight penilty.
17. Conventional OEM style heads with stock valve configuration.
18. Factory style automatic or standard transmission. NO trans brakes. No Lenco or Liberty style transmission.
19. No Delay boxes. Footbrake Only.
20. 94 octane Pump Gasoline only.
