I have been tossing around the idea for some time now about switching to an overdrive and have been curious about the rpm drop. I know quite a few people on here are running overdrive automatics and would like to know what kind of rpm's people where revving on the freeways before and after. My K1500 with its overdrive barely hits 2,200-2,400 going at a pretty good clip and thats with 4.10 gears. I need to put a tach in the dart but I know with the 904 I'm spinning higher than that. Plus I know the mpg would be very welcome on long hauls!

OD ratios are around .67 to .76, depending on the trans. The Mopar OD AT ratio is .69:1. If you were running 300RPM in a 904 car, an OD trans would let you run at 2070RPM.
