A friend of mine has one behind the 360 in his 67 Barracuda. He had to split the tranny tunnel from several inches in front of the torsion bar cross memeber to several inches behind the cross member. This in cluded cutting the torsion bar cross member. He then expaned the area and welded in a new section of cross member and sheet metal to fil the hole. This is needed because the A518 is fatter behind the main case because of the 4th gear overdrive.
The drive shaft also needed to be shortened and if you currently have a 904 a new slip yoke that fits the A833/727/A518 is required.
He was able to adapt the stock floor shifter to work and has a stock console on the floor.
