overlay for the dash

I have an overlay that goes over the dash cluster surrounding area on a 1971 duster and i notice there is nothing on the back of the material that will let it bond to the dash. I was thinking it would of been peel and then stick it on but it's not.

Does anyone have an idea what the dam process would be to get it on and bond good so it wouldn't peel.

Most dash overlays use a clear RTV silicone as an adhesive.
That's how ours went on anyway, per the included instructions.

Velcro round or squares work great too.

3M make a silicone adhesive that is very good (in a black tube). Most over lays come with a glue.
