Does anybody know of a source for an oversize alternator pulley? This is for use on the stock round back alternator. Thanks.

I bought a smaller crank pulley that way it slowed down my alternator and water pump. It was from March. I mainly drag race the car but if you had a street car you could have a stock crank pulley and belt to change over to for steet driving and the small pulley and belt for racing. It would only be 6 bolts to do the conversion from street to track.

Much easier than having to press on an alternator pulley

I run a March brand aluminum alternator pulley on mine - seems to work just fine. Its probably 205 larger than stock.

Moroso makes a 5" dia. pulley. I ran this with the small crank pulley on a street 340/4-spd. with 4.56 gears. Could always keep spare alt with large pulley for racing only. Bob
