Painters in the Portland, OR area

Anyone have an idea on where I can start for a paint job that's not going to cost me my life savings up here? Car is almost all stripped, just going for one solid color, nothing fancy.

Never really looked into decent painters here and trying to avoid either a 2+ year wait time or $5k.

Fast and cheep will only happen at Maaco. What stage of the process is the car in , exactly?

If it's stripped to bare metal, that's miles away from being ready to paint.

I meant stripped as in removing all the interior/trim/engine/etc. I haven't touched the body. I know it's definitely a process and Maaco is something I refuse to do.

I know it'll cost money, just wanting to do it the most affordable way without skimping.
