painting wheels

I bought a set of 14" ralley wheels that where in fair condition. I have had them media blasted, now its time to paint. I was going to use self etching primer and then paint with Mopar argent silver. Will this work, am I misssing a step? This all has to be done with rattle cans, I dont have the equipment or the money to have them done by a pro.

I lightly sanded down my rims and used self etching primer and tack rag and bought the Mopar restoration Wheel paint kit from eastwood and then hit them with some clear coat all from rattle cans on my rallyes and they turned out nice.
