I'm replacing a rear quarter panel on my 70 swinger. I was just wondering how you guys do your spot welds? I'm thinking of drilling a 1/8 " hole and weld through that.
Thanks
Jim

Why not try one of the spotweld removal bits? I have seen them in car mags not too much money.

I use a punch where I can; and a varibit in the other spots. 1/8 or quarter would work. My punch is an 1/8th. works well.

Harbor freight has them in local stores. $5, and awesome, and lasts. You can even turn it over to expose new bit.
