I'm redoing the rear drums on my Duster. I have Moser axles, LBP, that use the B/E body brakes.

I have everything I need except the correct backing plates. I thought I had the right ones already but after trying to make it work, I realized they were the wrong ones.

So regarding the hardware interchange - do I need to find parking brake parts that are particular to the 2.5" shoes (actuator lever, strut, springs etc.) or can I use the 1.75" stuff that I have on hand? I think there must be a difference but I'm not sure.

Also, can someone suggest a good source for this stuff or am I looking here/Ebay CL/JY etc? I know Year One carries the plates, they're like $60 each didn't check for the hardware though. I may go that route unless there is a cheaper option.

Thanks - Greg.

Cool, thanks.

This interchange stuff can be frustrating sometimes. I never fail to hit a snag when stuff is going back together. Rear disc brakes are looking pretty good right now.
